Post number seven for my #30IN30 highlights a beauty tip I am
in love with, Argan Oil. I first learned about this product from reading an
interview with Amerie in HoneyMag.com who mentioned this great beauty tip that
she used on her own skin and hair. This oil comes from Morocco and is actually a
nut that is harvested. To learn more about the origins of this incredible oil
check out Josie Maran’s site not only for background but also for some outstanding
face and hair products all made with Argan Oil. The benefits to help with dry
skin and acne are very noticeable in a short amount of time using the product. This
brand was my first foray into the Argan Oil market and I have used the tinted
moisturizer as well as the SPF 40+ moisturizer. The quality of her products is
superb, a little goes a long way and most importantly the price points are very
reasonable ranging from $14-$52 and are also available at most Sephora
Locations.
A third option is to purchase just pure 100% Argan Oil serum
and I have found Whole Foods Beauty Department is affordable and has a few
different options in brands/price points. I bought my serum which was in a
small bottle with a dropper for about $20.00 (on special), which I could use
for my face or in my hair so ladies, 1 item for multiple uses especially for
those that travel, is a blessing!
