The Remix "Powerful in Pink"
With the ushering in of May, let’s be bold this week and showcase the vast ways to wear pink. This outfit says fierce with a capital F. It's still work appropriate at the core but you may need to lose the pink leggings and swap the pink short sleeve turtleneck for a black one and just showcase the patent leather pink peep toe shoes to bring out the floral print. I opted to be bold with all my pink! The sheath dress is from Express circa 2008 summer collection; the fuscia short sleeve turtleneck is from Filene's Basement 2007, the black cotton wrap sweater is also from Express from last summer season and the same black belt to accentuate my shape (we have seen in previous posts free with a dress from Express). The leggings from H&M fall season and the pink patent leather peep toes are from Charlotte Russe 2007 really make this outfit pop. The makeup: blending of Hot pants and Fishnet Urban Decay eye shadow along with Revlon lipstick in Berry Haute (from CVS), in person, really accents the outfit. This outfit is playful and fun with the floral print and coloring and will brighten up your mood even it is a Monday! Feel the power of pink!
