Fall is upon us and one of my favorite footwear is the ankle booties! Last year, I began to gravitate more towards the lower heel mostly for comfort but also for style in various colors and textures! This past August, I began to peruse the online sites like 6pm.com and DSW to see what new booties would be available for this fall especially with my small size of six, I knew those fly off the shelves early! I was pleasantly surprised not only in the color selection but also the availability and pricing! Always start planning ahead ladies especially for the fall season! So here are just two of the many pastel booties I recently purchased.

Another trend I never thought I could never wear is the skinny jean being short and having an athletic leg and wider hip and backside! I have tried on dozens of pairs from high end brands: AG, J Brand, Sevens to Express, and many countless others over the years but finally found a few brands (Jennifer Lopez, HM, and I Buffalo)that actually fit and flatter! Below I have paired these looks together to highlight the ankle booties & skinny jean trend along with either a blazer or colorful top and sweater. Best Part: nothing broke the bank!
